The 2nd annual Big Caribbean Lunch, put on by Friends of Windrush Square and Lambeth Council, was held this past Sunday 23rd June in Windrush Square. With an incredible turnout of over 100 attendees, an inspiring lineup of WCFF films celebrating the Windrush Generation’s legacy was showcased on the big screen. The event featured poignant testimonies, including one from Clovis Constantine Salmon OBE, also known as Sam the Wheels. Attendees enjoyed Caribbean cuisine, lively dancing, and heartfelt conversations, making it a memorable tribute to the Windrush Generation and their descendants.
